What’s the best way to get my teeth whiter ? ?
Posted on September 5, 2010
I don't smoke or drink a lot of coffee. I brush twice a day, always have, and yet my tetth aren't as white as I'd like them to be. I don't think my parents would be willing to pay to let me get my teeth whitened. They aren't really yellow or anything, they're just kind of creamy, and I would like them to be really white.
Can anyone recommend some products available in Ireland that I could get on a teenager's budget? Thanks in advance

I always prefer natural methods so I’ll give u some easy tips.. I would suggest something similar to what "Sapphire_socks" suggested..
the bicarbonate thing works wonders but is a teeny bit harmful (my aunt is an periodontist) as on frequent and inappropriate use can cause recession of gums (meaning that ur gums recede inwards reducing the strength with which it holds ur teeth..
and hydrogen peroxide is even worse as it is a powerful oxidizer.. so, although it is effective, do dilute it a bit before application and rinse it off within 30seconds..
but the easiest and safest of all methods is to sprinkle some salt on ur toothbrush (on top of ur toothpaste).. this worked wonders for me.. do it everyday and u’ll have WAY WAY whiter teeth in 2 weeks..
just a suggestion: use powdered table salt, not the crystal form (it can be a bit painful for the few seconds before it dissolves because of the crystal size..)
happy whitening!

Try some crest whitening strips, although they can cause sensitivity if you over-use or incorrectly use them!
Or,
try baking soda. Sprinkle a little on your toothbrush, scrub well, and rinse with peroxide!

Make sure you have a good cleaning from the dentist first, if it has been awhile since you have seen a dentist the whiteners don’t do much good over the plaque build on your teeth (friend works as an assistant for a dentist) then the Crest Whitners or something of the sort work just fine, not as good as the dentist but you can tell a difference

I would definitely say use Crest Whitening Strips. Follow the instructions, so that you don’t cause to much damage or sensitivity to your teeth but after 3 days you notice results.
I think the instructions say to use twice a day for 30 min at a time on both your upper and lower teeth.
