Why do I constantly have bad breath?

Posted on September 6, 2010

I brush and floss every day. I brush my tongue as well. I drink plenty of water (it's actually the only thing I drink). Why do I have bad breath all the time?

  1. Probably gingivitis. But it also could be gum disease, smoking, various foods, medical conditions, sinus conditions and a persistently dry mouth. Are you brushing with peroxide and baking soda with a proper tongue scrubber? If not, you should start.

You need to get this problem checked out, because it’s not only embarrassing (as I’m sure it is) it’s also unhealthy and could lead to you needing major dental surgery a little while down the line (not to far a little while either).

My father had bad breath for years and this past fall, he had to go in for a series of major dental surgeries where they had to split open his gums down the middle and remove about 50 years worth of pulp, bacteria and infection. He was in excruciating pain for weeks sadly. However his breath smells as clean as the Swiss Alps now. I’m sure you’d like to avoid a (costly AND painful) procedure like the one he underwent.

Contact your dentist or a dental clinic in your area immediately.

  3. you have halitosis is most commonly bad breath are terms used to describe noticeably unpleasant odors exhaled in breathing – whether the smell is from an oral source due to bacteria or otherwise. Try using Paroduim, it really really helps , and also try using spray for good breathe , but believe me paroduim is the best choice!!!
