Why in UK the dentist doesn't like to treat the children's teeth?
During my child's life i took her to the dentist 4 times, in 3 different city in UK and only once a dentist cared to clean her teeth of tartar or plaque.
All plaque and tartar is harmful to the teeth as it promotes tooth decay as it eats away at the enamel on the teeth, than WHY don't they bother to remove them?
My child's teeth are healthy, but as with anyone else, occasionally plaque happens and i have to take them off myself because the dentist just look at them and ignore them, but i can't do a good job because I don't have their facilities and experience and training.
Next time we visited the only dentist that cleaned her teeth, he was not longer working in there, instead a lazy dentist that even though he was seeing the plaque with the help of light and even pointed to them, just said her teeth were fine...
Please help, what is going on?

They don’t think it’s worth taking care of teeth that are going to fall out. They’re wrong. Dental problems with baby teeth can turn into problems with permanent teeth.
Watch out for doctors who don’t think children need anesthesia when their cavities are being drilled. That’s not as common as it used to be, but there are a few of them still lurking out there, and they can make children so terrified to go to the dentist that they have trouble with it for the rest of their lives.
