will toothpaste reduce the size of a cyst? Why do the cysts keep coming back?

I have cystic acne and people keep telling me to put toothpaste on it. When they go away they keep coming back and i just want them to go away for good.

Toothpaste is a myth. Many time toothpaste clogs the pore causing it to just fill with pus/infection again. The best thing to do is go to the doctor and get topical cream to put on the acne, such as Retin A Cream which requires a prescription. Over the counter topical creams will work as well, but make sure they have some type of medication in them. Clean & Clear Continuous Control face wash is excellent to use for your daily face wash, as well as Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment to put on the acne after you wash and before bed will help allot too.
